All affiliated companies, incorporated between 1995 and 2015, are active in the production of energy from water and wind sources. Hidroerg holds a 26% stake in the share capital of Lusiterg, a 20% stake in Atberg and a 28% stake in Ruiverg, the remaining shares being held by strategic partners, either national or foreign.

In what Lusiterg is concerned, the strategic partner is Innogy, a company majority owned by the German utility Group RWE, one of the largest European energy producers. As to Atberg, the strategic partnership is held by the six municipalities of Alto Tâmega e Barroso region, who have other assets in this same area. Ruiverg is a partnership of Portuguese and German private investors.

The four companies have their own energy production facilities in operation and/or under a design phase. Although the global management and the operation & maintenance of the hydropower plants are fully entrusted to Hidroerg, each of such assets pertains and is economically owned by only one of the Group’s companies.
